CONTRACT AWARDED FOR THOMASTOWN PRIMARY SCHOOL UPGRADE
Thomaston Primary School received $281,000 in the 2015-17 State Budget for maintenance works to upgrade the existing facilities. ADMA Group has been appointed the builder for maintenance works to address the stormwater flow, replace cracked pavements and ensure there is wheelchair access to the kerbing of the main carpark.
We’re investing in schools’ bricks and mortar, so that our students get the learning environment they need to achieve their best. I am incredibly pleased to see Thomastown Primary School take this important step towards upgrading its facilities.
Quotes attributable to Minister for Education James Merlino
“We’re getting on with the job of building the Education State so that every child has access to a great education and gets the support they need to reach their potential. This means investing in school infrastructure –because you can’t get a first-rate education in second-rate classrooms.”
