MOSAIC RECREATION RESERVE AND COMMUNITY SOCCER FACILITY, LALOR
Last week the State Government announced a $2.95 million Growing Suburbs Fund (GSF) grant for Whittlesea Council to help with the construction of the $6.985 million Mosaic Recreation Reserve and Community Soccer Facility in Lalor. Through the GSF and the Community Sports Infrastructure Fund (CSIF), more than $4 million has been committed to projects within the City of Whittlesea. The GSF is designed to provide crucial facilities to Melbourne’s fast growing outer suburbs.
This $6.985 million project will include a new playground and landscaping, two new soccer pitches, car parking and lighting in a new residential development in Lalor. The announcement is at the early stages with initial concept design, design development, detailed design, contract documentation and contract support services for the development of the Mosaic Recreation Reserve.
