Introducing Australia’s first paramedic practitioners.

Who are they — Paramedic Practitioners are ambos with advanced clinical training.

What do they do — They’ll be able to provide urgent care in the field, including assessing, diagnosing and treating patients.

What does this mean — This means less need to make a stressful and time-consuming trip to the emergency department, and more time spent getting better.

We’re partnering with Monash University to make sure paramedics who want to become Paramedic Practitioners can do the training, free of charge. It’s an incredibly important role, and we want to attract the best.
